STAYenRoute and Kanabo Safaris have been in the travel business for 30 years and have been at numerous hotels across Africa and other countries. From the most basic to the most luxurious, we have seen it all.
The fact that customers are usually satisfied and delighted when they understand what they are paying for is one element of accommodations that has always been important. We believe that lodging costs in Southern Africa are 40–50% overvalued in 80% of cases. Although this is a really courageous remark, history and experience are unbeatable. Value for money must be distinguished from opulence.

 The majority of STAYenRoute customers look for lodging as part of their trip to their destination in order to enjoy the scenery or the camaraderie of travel.
At STAYenRoute, we work hard to recommend businesses that we personally know and can confidently recommend to our clients. This is a solid beginning, but it is by no means a certainty. We are assembling a portfolio with STAYenRoute that we are confident will meet the standards that our clients require and desire at competitive prices.
Regarding the services we provide to our customers and product owners, STAYenRoute aims to uphold the following.

•  Value for money listings are our main focus.
• We try and list only owner operated establishments. 
• With the exception of any special offers from the establishments, we work to make sure that you won’t pay more by visiting these places directly than by making a reservation via us.
• In each town, suburb, or region, we shall choose no more than three establishments per category. These being guest-houses, camp-sites, farm stays,
• In order to guarantee quality, value for money, and desired service levels for each category, we have agreements with the owners and operators.
• Most of the establishments we list, our employees, and a carefully curated group of friends and clients that share our beliefs and principles have visited. Thus, “accommodation personalized” is our slogan.
• We prioritize the safety of our guests and their possessions while they are staying at our carefully chosen establishments.
• We are registered agents for all national parks in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. We can assist in making reservations for any park. The price will be the same as according to our agent contracts, we receive commission on reservations from the parks.
