There is ample parking space behind a locked gate for large vehicles and for those towing trailers, etc. The sundowners’ deck is perfect for enjoying your breakfast or a cold drink at the end of the day, and provides a great lookout point for viewing the Karoo landscape. All rooms have the option to add in one single sized mattress with bedding for children 12 years and younger at a rate.
A complimentary breakfast consisting of muesli, yoghurt, fruit, juice, tea and coffee is included in the room rate, and we have dinner options available.
The Bush Camp is situated on the Northern part of the farm, which measures approximately 1000 hectares, and is accessed via the R407, about 1.5km east of our Lodge. The Bush Camp provides an ideal setting for groups wishing to stay in the chalets. It is a great location for nature lovers and adventurers, including hikers, mountain bikers and motorcycle riders. There are 5 chalets each with en suite bathrooms consisting of a basin, toilet and shower. All linen is provided and each chalet has a gas top cooker, cutlery and crockery. A table and chairs are provided for each chalet’s braai area. Chalet lighting is solar powered and there is a USB charging point in each chalet.
The Camp-site has an ablution block with separate male and female facilities, each with a basin, toilet and shower for campers to make use of. When camping at the Bush Camp, there is adequate lighting for the communal areas, but we do recommend bringing along one’s own camping lights for use at your camping site.
The communal kitchen has a 12V fridge and lighting, grocery cupboards, essential cookware, a 2-burner gas stove, double bowl sink and a 4-point USB charging station. The braai pit and lapa are close to the kitchen and provide a perfect socialising area. The “Kit Room” is a separate building located near to the kitchen and lapa area, which is suitable for storing bulkier items such as cooler boxes, camping equipment, etc.
