Description
This Botswana Route enters the Country just outside the town of Lobatse and run pretty much along the eastern border of the country, trough its capital Gaborone right up to Kasane covering a distance of just over 1000 km. it is probably Botswana’s busiest route. Lobatse is a mere 75 km from the the capital Gaborone. From here it heads north to Kasane on the banks of the mighty Chobe river, where Botswana borders on 3 countries, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. This is also the northern entry to the world renowned Okavango Delta.
In-between travelers passes trough various eco-systems and villages and towns along this route. From Francistown it runs diagonal with the Zimbabwe’s border.
