Description

Rooidam Cottages & Campsites is the perfect choice for an overnight stop on the N12 halfway between the Cape Peninsula and Gauteng as well as halfway between the Eastern Cape and the Kalahari/Namibia. This is a working Karoo sheep-farm and only 1 km off the main road. Also very accessible by large caravans, road bikes and low profile cars.

Facilities

 Choose between 3 cottages and an Apartment. Three star self-catering accommodation. Fully-equipped (sleep 19 in total). Safe and secure under-roof parking (Granaat) and under shaded net (Karee & Bloubos) that is close to the cottages. Outside plugs available. The 3 star self-catering accommodation consist of 3 cottages and an apartment.

All cottages and the apartment come equipped with comfortable beds, an en-suite bathroom, and a kitchenette fitted with a fridge, microwave, and stove. The units are neat, clean, and fully equipped.

There are 3 campsites located close to the homestead and situated in the former fruit garden with enough shade. Each campsite has its own ablution, hot water shower, single gas-burner, small sink, and standard 220V plug.
