Kalahari Water is part of a fully functional farm on one of the multitude of islands forming the community of Keimoes. You’ll enjoy a variety of self-catering accommodation options: from Camping on the banks of the Orange River, to fully equipped Self Catering Units nestled between lush vineyards

Facilities

Self-catering Backpackers Dam Huts:  We offer 6 fully equipped self-catering backpacker huts next to the dam between the farm’s vineyards. Each hut is unique in its style and build with its own on suite bathroom, braai area, kitchen and covered parking. Each hut has its own water cooler / aircon. These huts are canvas, reed and wood constructions, thus not 100% soundproof.

Old Farmhouse Self-catering Accommodation:  The Old Farmhouse has been converted into 4 fully equipped Self-Catering Units nestled between the farm’s vineyards. Each unit is unique in its style and build with its own private carport and braai area. There is also TV, Wi-Fi and air conditioning in each bedroom.

The swimming pool is situated just behind these units and is suitable for both old and young. It was actually the old dam and was creatively converted to a pool. Units are only equipped with showers. The kitchenettes are all equipped with a fridge, microwave oven, toaster, hotplate, kettle and the necessary utensils to prepare a hearty meal.

Caravan and Camping Sites: They have two fully functional parks for our travelers with Campers, Caravans, Tents and Ox wagons. They offer 10 camping and caravan sites with electricity next to the dam between the farm’s vineyards and next to a little hill.
