Description
The White House was built in the early 1900, between 1912-1915. This beautiful house is situated on a 15,000 hectar farm in the far south of Namibia, 11 km north of Grünau on the B1, the main road to Windhoek. We are 125 km from Ai-Ais Hot-Springs and 115 km from the Fish River Canyon. The White House is often used as a base to make a day-trip to these two places. Come and enjoy the wide-open spaces, the peace and tranquility, the beautiful sunsets and the millions of bright stars at night.
Facilities
The White House Manor, has a communal dining room, fully equipped kitchen, living room and barbeque area. In the kitchen you will find a well-stocked fridge with cold beer, wine, soft drinks and water. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk are also available in the kitchen. Our main building is fully equipped with modern amenities, and each room has its own private shower and toilet facilities. 3 x family rooms with 1 double and 2 single beds. 1 x student room with 2 single beds
4 x free standing chalets fully equipped for self-catering. Each chalet has a fully equipped kitchenette, well stocked fridge with cold beer, wine, soft drinks and water, private barbeque area and en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk is also available
Small camp-site with ablutions. Each campsite has an electrical outlet, water faucet and light as well as a communal ablution block, with showers, toilets and basins
Braai packs and cooked meals can be pre-ordered for your convenience
