The first leg of this Route, N14 from Springbok to Upington meanders trough ever changing landscapes, from desert like scrubs and bushes, red sand dunes and lush green vineyards along the Oranje River. This Route also includes Augrabies Falls, a short diversion, and the 7th biggest water fall in the world. A wonderful experience with untouched nature and scenic sunsets.
This second section of the N14 runs from Upingtton and passes through Olifantshoek, Kuruman, Scweizer-Renke, Potchestroom, Pretoria. These are mostly rural towns that are dependent on agricultural activities. The final destination is the city of Pretoria, the legislative capital of South Africa and part of Gauteng Province, the financial hub of the country.
